About us

The Centre of Transformation is a reconstructed water mill with its own lake and direct access to forest walks. Set in the picturesque South Bohemian countryside in the energy field of a magical stone circle, the Centre of Transformation offers everything for you to kick back, relax and unwind. We provide a great setting for you to focus on yourself, go through a deep transformational process or simply enjoy the moment, taking some time off from the hustle and bustle of the city, either alone or with your loved ones or within an organised group. All are welcome at our centre.

You can dive deep into yourself as well as indulge in all kinds of relaxing diversions here at the Centre of Transformation.

The Centre of Transformation offers gorgeous spaces both inside and outside (terraces, lounges, chill-out areas) so, whatever mother nature (or your group leader) decides to do, you’ll have a quiet corner to call your own.

A friendly centre manager Katarina and caretaker Pavel will gladly introduce you our magical centre as well as point guests in the direction of local sites and tourist attractions in the South Bohemian region. Outdoor lovers can take in the crisp, fresh air of the rolling countryside and navigate exciting cycle or hiking routes around the area.

Our Mediation Room, perfect for workshops and seminars, has 70m2 and we are proud of the mellow old brick barrel ceiling and its good acoustics. The Garden Room can be used as a smaller group room or as a quiet chill-out space. We have preserved the old wheel for atmosphere and added a fireplace in the Mill Wheel Room where people can eat and relax.

Depite being so young (built in 2013), our stone circle has a powerful energy and provides a great space to meditate or hold ceremonies and

It is modeled on the Merry Maidens circle in West Cornwall where the founder of the centre John Hawken comes from. This circle is half of diameter of the Merry Maidens circle.
